Heritage Hollow

For over 30 years I was trying to buy a Gibson Les Paul. Unfortunately they were 1. Overpriced 2. Have Problems with intonation. 3.For the price I expect a better quality. So I turned to top of the line Yamaha guitars. I have four of them. And I'm happy with all of them. Recently, I discovered the Heritage Hollow from Prestige. I couldn't resist the price, so I purchased one. All I can say is, from this day on, I will never look at Gibson again. This guitar is a masterpiece. Worth every penny you spend. Get one. No question. I'm a guitar teacher for over 40 years. I've seen tons of guitars in my life.

I own a Heritage Pearl. This guitar is stunning. I have never opened the case to show it to someone without moans, and oohs and aahs. It is one of the most beautiful guitars I have ever seen. I own around 30 guitars. Many of them one-of-a-kind. I have several Gibson LPs Custom and Limited models. Some that retailed $5000 to $10000. I have never had a guitar that came from the factory that had a better fingerboard or a neck or that was set up better. This guitar is amazing to play and without question one of the best sounding that I own. I look forward to owning more Prestige Guitars. Thank You.

I do not work for, nor am I associated in any way with, Prestige guitars. I am just an average player.
I have been playing guitar since the 60's and have owned many guitars. I currently have about 20 guitars, some vintage and quite a few high end ones. I was actually looking for something light weight, like a LP Studio, but more boutique-ish. I have lost faith in Gibson and Fender quality control and I was considering guitars by Fano, Tom Anderson, Collings, etc. In my search for one of these I happened to stumble upon the Prestige line and, at first, just glanced by them as just another bottom of the line Korean made slab of wood with strings. I was to soon discover how utterly wrong I was!!
I was shopping online at Acemate Music, and noticed The Heritage Pearl. That caught my eye! So I did a little research on Prestige guitars and I could literally not find one bad thing said about them - I now know why! Still looking for something light weight in a solid body I contacted Mike at Acemate. Mike was great -- very patient and generous with his time and knowledge. He recommnded the Classic or the Heritage Hollow. Being skeptical, and NEVER buying a guitar I haven't tried or held in my hands, I took a chance and went for the Classic. It arrived 4 days later - -extremely well packed and set up exactly to my specs. When I first opened the case I was really surprised. The maple top is absolutely stunning! The fit and finish is amazing. The neck is fast and very comfortable and the frets are perfect. But the true test would be the playability and the sound. 10/10 for both! I swear I must have played that guitar for 6 hours straight!! This guitar will blow you away give! n it's price point. It is easily worth 2 to 3 times more. The weight is exactly what I was looking for and the contoured body makes it so comfortable to play. I find myself reaching for the Classic all the time now. I play mostly blues/rock and it handles that just fine. It has great clean tones and handles softer, jazzy stuff just as well. To be clear, it is not a 'balls-y' guitar like a LP (get the Heritage Standard or Elite if you are looking for that), but it rocks and surpasses anything in its class and price point hands down!!
I love this guitar so much I am now planning to get the Heritage Hollow next.

I am a very big fan of this company, They make outstanding quality guitars, This is my third and it does not disappoint, It sounds and plays fantastic, I highly recommend buying one of these, I consider myself fortunate to have received one of only 33 made per year. By far the best acoustic i have played! Its awesome to finally have an acoustic i'm pleased with after trying out about 8 different guitars! Nothing comes close to the craftsmanship and sound of these amazing instruments.
The Koa wood is perfect, gives off such a warm tone and is extremely comfortable to play, i play electric guitar mainly so i try to find acoustics with lower action, and this guitar is perfect! Your fingers just glide along :)Having the electronics hidden in the sound hole is genius, and this guitar sounds amazing plugged in!
All in all this guitar is phenomenal, its hard to find quality built guitars nowadays, especially at a great price!
Thanks for the amazing instrument!
Sincerely, Colin Martinez

I own 20+ acoustic guitars from all the big mfgrs,,,but got the Koa/Koa after seeing the GuitarWorld review and cannot believe the quality - this box rings forever when strummed, plays effortlessly, looks fantastic and has perfect intonation. I thought the price was incorrect,,,as this same guitar with another mfgrs name on it would be at LEAST double the price! You guys should advertise a little more and let the world know what a great instrument you have to offer! Thx for such a wonderful acoustic guitar!!!

Heritage Hollow
Frank J. Cifali
cbop6@Aol.com

The Heritage Hollow guitar is the best, most versatile and beautiful guitar that I have ever owned. This coming from a guy who has owned over 70 guitars including "vintage" Gibsons and Fenders.
The path I took to own this guitar was a serpentine one, but it was well worth it. I first saw the Heritage Hollow in Guitar World magazine. It was and is a stunning instrument. It looks like a custom made instrument. One you would see on display in a museum. Almost a little too beautiful to be played. After I read the review though, I knew that I had to try this guitar.
Admittedly, I had a rough time finding a dealer in my area but when I did, I visited them. They only had the Heritage Standard {solid} and The NYS Pro models. So I played them both. They played so well, I had to ask the salesman "Who did the set up work on these guitars?" He told me, "All he did was tune them and put them on display. This is how they arrived at the store." I was impressed beyond belief. I felt like I was playing an old Gibson. The new Gibsons certainly don't play this well out of the box. I left the store trying to decide if I should "take a chance" on the Heritage Hollow. After all, I had not played that model.
A few days later, I was in my Friend's store, THE MUZIC STORE in Dobb's Ferry NY. I told him about my experience with Prestige Guitars and asked him if he could get them in his store. I guess I must have, inadvertently, made a good impression because a week later, he became a Prestige dealer. Shortly thereafter, he had a bunch of Prestige guitars in his store including two Heritage Hollow Guitars. They were both great. The consistency of excellence in craftsmanship, playability, tone, and finish was outstanding. So I picked the one with the more desirable grain in the wood and bought it. It has become my main guitar. I play 2 - 3 nights a week and I use it for everything {my other 29 guitar are extremely jealous}, Rock, Blues, Country, R&B, Pop, Jazz you name it. It has never let me down. It always feels great, sounds wonderful and looks gorgeous.
I am extremely pleased with my Heritage Hollow guitar. It is a boutique instrument at a retail store price. In the Heritage Hollow, I purchased the best electric guitar I have ever owned for about 1/3 the price of a similarly finished Les Paul.
Thank you Prestige guitars. I look forward to getting my next one.
Sincerely, Frank J. Cifali

I bought this guitar sight unseen, except for the photos. In person, this guitar is far better looking than any electric I've seen. The MOP body is gorgeous, and vine inaly on the neck just adds to the beauty. I've got # 17 of the 100 models made, and for the price, this is far better than any Les Paul I've owned. Looks aside, the Seymour Duncan humbuckers give it the same sound as the LP, and at a much less expensive price. Add the gold hardware and the MOP trim around the headstock, and you have a better guitar than any Gibson LP. Honestly, this guitar belongs in a museum, as it brings not only it's beauty, but as good a sound as one could expect.

I took a chance and ordered this guitar online. I had a Les Paul Standard which I sold and a Les Paul Studio which I sold. Both were Gibsons, not Epiphone. I sold them cause of being laid off. I saw these guitars online and to my surprise, my wife bought me one for my birthday - a Heritage Standard. It looks and plays just as nice as the Gibsons I had. I like the pickups better. I hope to soon buy one of their bass guitars, so I can retire my old Fender P Bass. These guitars are great for the money, they are equal to a real Gibson and it don't say Epiphone on the head stock. The finish will blow you away. I have been playing guitar 40+ years own fender, Zion, Gibson, Jackson, played blues, Christian metal , country and in the worship band at church; this guitar can handle it all. Get one - you won't be sorry.

I really wanted a quality Les Paul style guitar but without the overinflated Gibson price tag. Well I found one, my Elite has been turning heads since I recieved it. And if it had come from Gibson it would have cost from 3k to 5k. So lets put this into perspective. I have a class AAAA Axe for under a grand, that can compeete with any Gibson I have ever played. The sound goes without saying, come on their Duncans, sustain for days. The attention to detail on this guitar is stuning. I mean you get the picture! Look for me to take the time to write a reviue I have to be motivated and this guitar motivates me in evry way! AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME! Ya I think I dune did good! Service from Prestige has been first class, I almost forgot the custom case, perrrfect fit. At first I was worried about the shipping, but it was absolutely pro-packed from Prestige, and arrived with the "A" slightly flat lol...truly plug and play! Prestige and my Heritage Elite Rate a flawless 10 out of 10!

Mike Moore
mikemooremusic@gmail.com

Well, I was researching to find a guitar that would give me some quality humbucking tones - warm, "woman" neck tones, crunchy/brown bridge pickup tones, sustain for days, etc. The tone I go for is a hybrid of Angus Young and Warren Haynes -- rich, creamy overdrive and full dynamic range with some of that raw power bite (Angus). So, I see the Heritage Pearl Supreme by Prestige Guitars. I see all the great reviews online of all variants of Heritage models (including one of the other users here who posted about the Pearl Supreme). I decide to pull the trigger --- sight unseen. Guess what?? I could not be MORE HAPPY with this guitar. It not only looks like a work of art; it plays and sounds like a work of art too! It plays as nice as my buddy's 1985 Les Paul Custom and sounds every bit as good with the quality Duncan pickups and electronics that Prestige fits standard into its guitars. Fit and finish is impeccable. You look at all the inlay work on this (and I did with a magnifying glass)...surely one would expect a lot of filler and what not. But NO, this is amazing craftsmanship. I honestly cannot believe how sweet this guitar is. Part of me wants to not play it ---just to keep it in mint condition. But that part is going to lose out to the guy who wants to play the hell out of this thing!!! I just jammed for 3 hours straight on it --- it only gets better. Guitar came out of the case perfectly set up --- some nominal intonation tweaking was all that was required (remember the guitar is set up in Vancouver and I'm here in HUMID Orlando, FL --- tweaking intonation just a tad is expected). Might be a bit too "over-the-top" for some, but I think all the pearl top, vine inlays on the fretboard, and abalone inlay binding around the body, neck and headstock just look amazing. This guitar is special, I'm blessed to own her, and if Prestige's work on its other models strives to meet a similar standard, I'm sure their guitars are totally undervalued and represent some of the best quality you can purchase on the market for the price --- jump on them or at least give them a try when you can (you will not be disappointed). Peace

I traded in a high range Carvin for this beauty and suddenly learned what my Line6 Bogner Spider Valve amp could do. This guitar has all the snarl and crunch needed for some good time rocking.
I play mostly rhythm guitar in UK rock band Tara's Secret and have searched high and low for a guitar that holds up my end of the guitar sounds in our band. I needed flexibility of tone, plenty of crunching power and a singing lead tone for both Slash and Joe Walsh style soloing. Its taken a few brands and styles of guitars (of all budgets) to get there, but this Prestige beasty is here to stay.
It also really says something when the other band members keep looking over in my direction with that YYYESSSS look on their faces !!
Playing the JB humbucker on 10 needs a health warning and if you like to ease back into classic Gibson territory, then wind back to about 8. Ease back further to 5-6 and that full Matchbox Twenty cleanish chord sound just breezes out of the amp, plenty of full tone, but less bite on the drive.
I have played this guitar live a few times now and its a beast, I can't wait to get into the studio with it now.

Here is my story. I had sold my Gretsch Powerjet which was my beloved primary axe for the longest time for one of the gorgeous heritage hollows. I have been pondering over it for couple of months checking out the reviews and drooling over the pics of it until I finally decided to take a chance on one! And I can surely tell you that IT WAS WELL WORTH IT!! I was initially skeptical as to whether the axe could live up to my expectations and not to mention being able to replace the Gretsch. I play everything from blues and jazz to modern rock. so I needed a versatile axe that could fit the bill. To my surprise the axe has a distinct nasaly growl with just enough bite when pushed with mild overdrive. The cleans are very warm with defined sparkles at the high end. The best of both worlds! One thing I could say about the guitar is that it has snarly attitude with its nasaly sound! I LOVE IT!! I gotta be honest..I didn't care too much for the tone from the Guitarworld demo!
This axe sounds so much better LIVE!!! It has enough mids to cut through beautifully with a distinct growl! I would recommend it to anyone!!! In fact Im planning to grab couple more from their line! David the tech and Mike the owner are superb guys to deal with! I have personally seen David work on the guitars painstakingly setting it up! He is very much a perfectionist paying attention to every little details. All I can say is that these guitars are worth way more than what they're going for right now!!
For what you get for the price, everthing from the fancy inlays and embroidery to the first class hardware! You can't beat it!
My experience in everything from dealing with these guys to finally owning one has been a real pleasure. Best of luck!

I have owned a lot of guitars in the 45 years I've been playing, but I have to say this is the best guitar I have ever bought at this kind of price. I am not going to say it can compare the the hand made custom built $3600.00 Melancon I am playing on, but I can't believe it blows away the Les Pauls', SG's. PRSs', and other guitars you find in nicer music stores. I am not talking about their bottom end guitars either. This is a remarkable guitar in every way. Mow I did adjust the set up a little, I did work for Gerard Melancon building his fine guitars and I learned all I could from him while I was there. This guitar plays better than guitars costing literally thousands of dollars more. And I can promise you I am not getting paid to say this, and I wouldn't try to promote a guitar unless I really believed in it. I thought I was buying a carry around guitar not to damage my "GOOD" guitar. Was I blown away. This is truly a players guitar in every way.
I would not hesitate to use use it live and know I would have every confidence in it. The tone is very is pleasing, though I have to confess the $250.00 Tom Holmes humbucker in the bridge of my other guitar is more to my liking, how can you begin to not like the S.D. in this guitar. Now the feel in finish. The finish on this guitar is beautiful. The flamed maple top is to die for. The neck is very comfortable, and does not take long to adjust to. I know people might be skeptical, I was taking a chance, so I thought, buying something I hadn't played, which is something I have never done before, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy the hollow if I had the money. For anyone who is looking for a really good guitar and doesn't have a lot of money to spend, here is your answer. PRESTIGE GUITARS!

This is my second Prestige Guitar, I liked the Musician so much I had to get another. The Heritage Elite is a killer looking guitar. I catch myself admiring the look and craftmanship, It truly is a bargain, And the sound out of it is truly spectacular. (sustain, Depth, playability ect) If you have to sell your existing axe to get one of these you'd be doing yourself a favor.

WOW, this thing rocks. Other than tuning it up I havent changed a thing. I am used to heavier strings but on this bass the lighter ones do just nicely for any sound you want. Classic
Gerard Lohan
gerardgbl@talk21.com

I would NEVER buy a guitar off the internet. It's far too personal a thing. You have to try it before you buy it. So why on earth did I buy the Classic? I would rather not say that it sang to me, but it did. I kept going back to ebay and looking at the Acemate site. I'd never heard of Prestige...not even a rumour. And the damn thing just whispered 'Buy Me'...and so I did. I needed a guitar to substitute for my '59 Gibson and being poor as a church mouse I had a very limited budget. When it arrived (4 days after I bought it!)I was nervous. I opened the case and I was astonished. It was absolutely beautiful...magnificently built. Perfect. The problem was...would I be happy with the neck? A guitar can be as pretty as you like, if it doesn't feel good...it's back to ebay. I picked it out and played. And played. And played. Perfect. Not unlike my 345's neck. Immediately comfortable.
sI had a gig that night and thought I would not play it as I wasn't familiar with it. Half way through the set, I thought to hell with it and strapped it on. Dear god! It was astonishing. What a sound! It completely transformed my playing and I have played it every gig since. I LOVE this guitar and cannot believe it was so well priced. I cannot use the word 'cheap'...it does not do it justice. A student was designing my website and he wanted to know what my guitar was. I raved...he bought one...a Heritage. Damn, it's beautiful. I cannot praise you guys enough and if I ever have money ever again in my life, I shall buy another. Perhaps even commission one with all the funny little things I wish I had on the guitar. Well done Prestige. I really hope you thrive. Your guitars are far better than PRS!

Hello everybody at Prestige Guitars. My name is David Svoboda and I was the guy who won a "Musician" guitar in a drawing a few months back. I just wanted to express my thanks to you all for making such a fine product. It's been awhile now, so the initial excitement has made way for an objective look at the guitar. I think that it is such a well-made, balanced, toneful and cool looking guitar that I am still as excited about it as the day I received it ! So much so that I was moved to write again and tell you about it. It really is an awesome guitar and it is a real pleasure to play. Some guitarists feel that you have to spend $1500 or more to get a "quality" guitar, but even though I was fortunate enough to win one, I would feel that I had a great value at full retail ! It really is just amazing, the attention to detail and the best of the best components make the Musician a guitar that can cover every style of music. So here it is a few months later and I am still in awe of this great piece of craftsmanship ! I just felt the need to let you know what a great job of guitar building you have achieved at Prestige and I wish you all great success in continuing to craft such fine instruments. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
David Svoboda -

I am not sure where to start with my story/review of this guitar, so let me provide you with some background. Prior to the purchase of this guitar, I had been playing Ibanez RG series guitars, they are a relatively inexpensive line and not too bad for the money. Unfortunately I felt that there was something lacking in the overall package. The feel of the neck was not quite right, the tone was thin, and sustain was just not up to par for me. That lead me to wanting a Les Paul style of guitar, mahogany, heavy, and a set neck. I spent 8 weeks going from guitar shop to guitar shop trying to find that special feel. I played guitars from PRS, Gibson, Epiphone and numerous other brands. I couldn't affort a PRS or a Gibson custom (few can) the Epiphone didn't have the buid quality I wanted, and I was afraid that once again I would have to settle.
A buddy of mine already owned one of these guitars, and he let me borrow it for a couple days, I fell in love with the thing instantly........so it was time I made the purchase for myself.
I can not begin to say enough good stuff about the Prestige Heritage Standard. The guitar shines in all aspects from build quality, to a stunning finish, and parts that are usually only reserved for guitars costing far more than what I paid.
Lets start off with playability. This guitar is easy to play, the action is perfect, not to high, and not to low, its as if the engineers knew exactly where I wanted my string height to be set. Your fingers can move freely across the fret board, there is room for some pretty crazy bending, but still plenty low to get great speed. The frets are finished nicely as well, your fingers do not get hung up on them and there is no buzzing. The neck contour is fabulous, I have an average sized hand, and I can play this thing for hours with out the slightest bit of strain or tension in my hand. From the box, I felt like the high gloss neck was a little grabby, but after playing it for a couple of days, that quickly went away, and now she feels smooth as glass.
The hardware on this guitar really impresses me. The thing stays in tune!!!! I play hard and do a lot of drop tunings with agressive styles of music, I never have to tune. As a matter of fact, this guitar was on a truck for 7 days and 4000 miles before it was in my hands, and it was in perfect tune from the box. I have not had to make any adjustments on string height and intonation, but it would be easy if necessary, the hardware is of great quality, and easily accessible.
IMO, this guitar has amazing tone, volume, warmth and sustain. The SD pickup combo gives you the ability to cover many types of music. In the neck position I can get some great bluesy sounds and accoustic simulation, in the bridge she is a beast! Unlike the lesser quality guitars I have owned the tone and volume knobs on this rig really do change the sound and tone of the guitar. Its versatility like I have never owned before, and oh, I only had to pay a marginal amount more that was I use to be willing to spend on a guitar.
What gets me most about the Heritage is the body wood. One of my passions is wood working. It would have taken me months and months to select, build and finish a guitar as stunning as the one I received. The depth and gloss of the finish is fabulous, it looks like you could dive right into the wood. I have received many compliments on the beauty of this rig. I was at my local guitar shop with it the other day testing amps, and random people approached me on how beautiful it is. All wanted to known what brand it was, how much it cost, and where to get one.
I can't say anything bad about the guitar.......I mean I like to play heavy strings and this came with a set of 10's so its a real stretch to be negative. I hope nothing ever happens to this guitar, if it did I would replace it with the exact same thing. I like it so much that I WILL be getting another one before the end of 2009.
Sincerely, Keith -

As far as the sound goes, wow oh wow... This thing is a monster; it is everything a great guitar should sound like. Les Paul x 2... with the help of the high quality pots and switch, and the Seymour Duncans they chose for this axe. Obviously the guys at Prestige took their time and found the perfect combination to get the sound that others try to get by swapping everything out of their guitars. With a good solid state amp with gain, it sounds nicer than more expensive guitars with a high end tube set up. Then when you plug into a tube head with a 2 or 4 x12 "oh my god" what can I tell you?... by far nicer sounding than my buddies Les Paul Standard or American HSS Strat, and these 2 guitars are 2-4 times the price. I never use a distortion pedal with this axe...tube or solid state.
Review of the Prestige NYS Deluxe coming soon. I just love this company and am the proud owner of:

First off let me just say that I've owned some of the finest Gibson LP Standards out there. Models from the late 70's and early 90's were my favorites. Now, Gibson sells these "weight-relieved" LP's that can't even begin to compare to their older models and they also seem to be moving away from the 50's & 60's style neck choices. I just can't justify paying $2300 U.S. for the LOSS in quality...
When I first saw the Prestige Heritage Standard I have to admit I was a bit skeptical of the quality given the MUCH LOWER price point but I bought one just to see... WOW! I was blown away by the quality of craftsmanship that goes into these guitars! The inlay work on the fret board and headstock is perfect (some Gibsons I've had didn't have this quality of work!), the neck is comfortable and easy to play... it's a bit slimmer and faster than the 50's style necks I've been used to but took no time at all to get the feel of..., the body weight of these guitars! is great and makes the guitar feel balanced and comfortable to play... Grover tuners, Seymour Duncan pickups...These things are AWESOME!
I like to tweak my guitar's setup so when it came I adjusted the string height and reset the intonation, I also removed the Duncan SH-4 in the bridge and replaced it with an SH-6... not that there's anything wrong with the SH-4, just a matter of personal preference. Now I can honestly say that the Heritage Standard is the ONLY guitar that I play! It has everything I was looking for! it's a beautiful, quality instrument and is 1/4 of the price of a new (and inferior) Gibson. This one wins hands down... I'm buying another one! Thanks guys for keeping true craftsmanship alive, don't change a thing!

I bought my Musician around Christmas and I have never had a guitar that plays as easy as it and I have had a lot of them. It has that Gibson feel to the neck. Very well built. Wylde Bass
Arn Brown
arnellen@rogers.com
I have been doing Luthier work since 1965 and have built a number of custom guitars. I bought the Wylde Thing to replace my stolen bass. I must say that in my many years of servicing instruments I have not found many better in quality than the Wylde Thing.
The wood and finish are absolutely perfect. The curly maple wood grain shows through the semi-translucent black finish. The body shape while unique, fits nicely to the player and is well balanced and comfortable to play.
The pickups are solid mounted instead of using springs or foam and no string vibration is absorbed. The brass nut and a very solid & tight bridge make for clean tones. The neck adjustment, oddly, takes a Torx T25 and it seats deep for adjustment which is both smooth and solid. The Grover elephant ear tuners are smooth and precise.
The tone network is simply outstanding. In passive the range is excellent and I can coax a string bass sound out of it. So far I've been able to produce Gospel, Blues, Rock 'n Roll, Heavy Metal, Country and Jazz sounds out of it. The 10 Db boost in the active circuit can overdrive virtually any amp if you want it to really rock out.
Improvements? I think that countersinking the bridge into the body a bit would be good for more string adjustment range. I'm not certain that two bottom strap knobs are needed, but they hold the strap solidly. One centered knob would suffice.
As for the wow factor, my musician friends were really impressed and told me flat out that the sound was just amazing. The bass is a good investment for a serious musician.

Who ever thought this bass up should get a fat raise! This is just what I've been waiting for. I have played this thing at 1000W into 4-ohms with a bunch of fuzz and this thing sounded awesome! It cut through 3 guitars and drums. Plus even when I drop-tune the 5th string sounds really clear. I was saving up for a 5 string Warwick Dolphin Pro when I came across this thing. This bass sounds just as good and is easier to play and easier on the eyes and pocket-book. I also love the deep tinted translucent finish. It looks like black lacquer until you get it outside on a sunny day, then the wood grain just pops! The pickups are just awesome and I love the range of tones you can get out of this instrument. A DEAD-BARGAIN at $690 with an awesome case and free shipping! I love the fret-wires you used.
As for future options: I recommend a ebony fret-board; on/off "mute" switch; and l.e.d. side dots. This bass would also look awesome with a distressed wood oil finish. The possible custom aspects for this bass are limitless.
I just wanted to thank you for the job you guys did making this thing. It's perfect! I've gotten ton of compliments on this bass already, especially from guitarists!

I have number 45 out of 100. I must say this is by far the most beautiful guitar i own! Anyone would look at it and say this guitar isn't a player, its just eye candy. But once you actually play the guitar, let me tell you, its like playing something god himself created. This beast has got to be the most beautiful guitar created. It is the perfect mixture of tone, playability, and looks. When i first received this guitar, i did not actually want to play it, because i knew i'd be dissapointed. It was just too beautiful to play as good as it looked. I picked it up, and i instantly fell in love. The weight was perfect, and being a les paul, it fitted perfect with my body frame. It did not have unbalanced weight, so i didn't need to worry about it tilting whilst standing up. I started to play and i must say the factory set up was superb. I normally pay around 150 dollars plus to get a standard setup to a new guitar, even a brand new gibson. But this one came fresh and ready to play.
I plugged it in and was astonished by how it sounded!. I had the exact same sh-4 and sh-1 pickup configuration in a randy rhoades V, yet the quality switch, pots and jack and the time put into wiring this machine has obviously made a HUGE difference. The sound is so bright and full, and even with a 10 watt practice amp you would not be disappointed. Im not sure, but i think this baby has a set neck construction. Whatever it is though, talk about sustainability! I have never felt a guitar which had felt as solid as this.
This guitar is truly amazing. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on one, you'll be blown away. I would sell my 1972 les paul custom to buy one of these. Enough said.

Prestige VT-30 Class-A 30watt Tube Amp

Great amp!! Sorta reminds me of a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Nice clean tone and really searing distortion on the dirty channel. Reverb is superb and the overall mix of sounds on both channels are so pleasing to my ears. I love this amp...wouldn't trade it for the world! This amp has everything I ever want in a tube amp!

I play guitar for CFOX Vancouver Seeds Top 5 Finalists Versus the Nothing. In Late 2007, we recorded with Jay Evjan at JMP Productions in Vancouver and he had a Prestige Hertiage Standard that I used to record ALL my guitar parts for our debut album Let It All Come Down. I can't say enough good things about this guitar! It's well crafted and it's got a warm sound with easy action and playing ability. I'm totally sold on this brand! Now only I had enough to buy one :(..LOL YOU GUYS ROCK! I got nothing but good things to say about Prestige Guitars!

Prestige Heritage Elite
Josep Seva Fernández
jseva@telefonica.net
Hello, my name is Josep Seva Fernandez from Barcelona (Spain). I purchased my Prestige Heritage Elite guitar just three months ago, as it fit my playing profile much better than Gibson or Fender. This guitar surpassed every expectations I had and then some. The finishing, and overall quality on my Heritage Elite, is far superior then any Gibson Les Paul. It is also equipped with the best pickups Seymour Duncan has to offer. What magnificent sustain!!! This pickup combination allows for both sweet blues play and aggressive Rock & Roll. Night after night, I can count on my Prestige to work its magic. You can’t find a better guitar at this price point. Buy this guitar people, you won’t be disappointed.
Many success and happiness to Prestige Guitars. Thanks for building my dream instrument.

Prestige Heritage Hollow

I have #30 from 2003. It was then named the Heritage Custom Hollow body. Unbelievable tone and quality for the price point. Nice fat warm jazz tone from the neck pup, LP like snarl in the middle position, and scream'n rock leads from the bridge. Stunning looks, enough eye candy to satisfy any guitar addict. This is a great axe, and I see the company has made it even better with improvements like Grover tuners, 1 piece mahogany necks and pup independent volume and tone controls. Mine only has 1 vol and 1 tone. Never a problem, though. I can get whatever I want from this axe through my Fender Twin Pro. I have a few guitars with famous names on them. Since I've had this one, most of them don't get played now. My Prestige is at the top of my GOTO category. Buy one. You will not be disappointed, in fact you will be amazed.

Prestige Heritage Deluxe

Prestige NYS Deluxe

I've owned my Prestige now for about 3 months and I just wanted to drop a line and say that I'm very happy with this guitar. I've been playing since I was 10 years old and I've had Fenders and Gibsons mostly - Les Paul's, teles and strats. Recently I've been playing jazz and was looking for something that would give me the tone I was after. The NYS Deluxe certainly fills the bill - I love the sp-90s and the tone and sustain are outstanding. The guitar looks great and feels even better than it looks. I've played half a dozen shows with it now and used for several recording sessions - every time I play it I just say wow. It also attracts a lot of attention and praise from other players - both the tone and looks.

Prestige Heritage Standard

Shines through my Boogie F30, but equally good through solid state gear. I've put the Prestige head up vs. my 05 Gibson Les Paul Standard through all my gear.
The Prestige has a more polished, slightly rounder overall tone than the Gibson. Not really darker, just more refined. The Gibson's burstbucker pros are a little raunchier sounding, raunchy in a good way though. When you A/B on the same patches, my son says the Prestige sounds like "recording studio" and the Gibson like "rock concert." That's about as well as I can put it. One's not really better than the other.
The Prestige has Terrific sustain, complex 3D tone, eager pinch harmonics. Also very usable on rhythm setting (doesn't get muddy). Three areas where it's better than the Gibson are individual string definition within chords, how it sounds clean, and the tone controls do more to the overall sound. They have to be using very good pots, etc., in this guitar. I also find less tweaking is needed on certain patches to get a good sound with this guitar. This is the best value in a solid body, LP style guitar, I have ever seen. Prestige is a young company, but they are doing some amazing things.
I've been playing for 25 years. I have two Gibsons (LP Standard, LP Studio), an American Deluxe Strat, a 1980s Japan Squire Strat, a Martin DM, and a few other electrics. I can honestly say this: If I were comparing this guitar head up to my LP Standard (a really good one btw that I handpicked after playing about 30 of them) with no knowledge of price or reputation, it would be a dead heat. The finish details on the Prestige might push it over the edge. Then, when informed on the price difference ... well, enough said.

The sound of this guitar is INDESCRIBABLE! It IS a tone Monster! :) Some feedback at high gain, but I usually don't play it at High gain! It is an Awesome Rocker, MAJOR Blues guitar, and a Superb Jazz Axe! I play it through an old Ampeg VL-503 tube amp, with an OLD Morley/Telray Volume/Boost Pedal, with a Boss NS-2, and a Boss CH-1 (in that order) and I get ALL I NEED and then some! This guitar, when played through my clean channel, is OUTSTANDING! I can make the Duncans bark on channels 2 and 3! REALLY an exceptional instrument!
