An ideal tonal balance with Spruce and Indian Rosewood
Description
The Prestige Legacy Series feature an OM body shape. The OM or Orchestra Model, is a slightly smaller bodied acoustic, with strong lower midrange and tremendously versatile dynamics.
The Legacy Spruce Rosewood maintains an ideal tonal balance with the combination of solid Indian Rosewood back and sides and hand selected solid Sitka Spruce top. Many players consider the combination of spruce top with rosewood back and sides, to be the standard that all other wood combinations should be measured against. Spruce as a top wood, has a very broad dynamic range and crisp delivery throughout its entirety. Rosewood has a similar basic tone to mahogany, but it’s as though you’ve taken the highs and lows and expanded the range in both directions. The bright end is sparkling and crisp and the low end is deep and booming. The combo of Spruce/Rosewood is tremendously versatile and can handle nearly any style of playing from flat-picking to finger picking and bluegrass with ease.

Craig Verner –
I received my Legacy OM Spruce / Rosewood guitar a couple weeks ago. I cannot say enough positive feedback on the build quality. The fit and finish of this instrument is stellar. To top all that off, the playability is second to none producing such amazing sounds both while strumming and playing fingerstyle. To top all that off, it even comes with a quality hardcase. Mike’s service was incredible answering all of my questions and offering me so much of his expertise. I will be coming back to Prestige once I am ready for another guitar, perhaps the Eclipse Grand Auditorium.
