Description

The Musician Pro Double Cutaway is a hard tail, double cut version of our Musician Pro. A thin line semi-hollow, the “Pro DC” features a unique chambered center block design which cuts down the weight by leaving the balance of the body chamber open. Coupled with an arched top and back, this allows for more acoustic airspace resulting in more open tones. The 25 1⁄2” scale length gives this guitar a much tighter feel while allowing the strings to ring through and sustain much longer versus a traditional 24 3⁄4” scale guitar. The Pro DC features all chrome hardware including a pair of Seymour Duncan Humbuckers, to give you a complete tonal range but with all the bite and gain you can hope for.

Well, tone quest may be over for me. Love the look, feel, playability, and tones in all pickup settings from this guitar. The range of warmth, cleans, edge, etc. that can come out of this guitar, and the tones of the SD ’59 and JB are just what I’ve been looking for all these years. I’m really conservative w/a new guitar and will leave the pickup and pickguard plastic on for ages until I’m sure it’s a “keeper”. Played this guitar once and loved it. Played it twice and took the plastic off. Done. ‘Tain’t goin’ anywhere. That’s my subjective opinion. Let me give you another.

I take lessons from someone who has been playing for over 20 years (was a “punk” when it was first “punk”, overseas), who’s played professionally, done studio engineering, session work, teaching…you name it. The guy knows his #$%! I brought the guitar with me on the last lesson. When I opened the case he immediately asked if he could play it. After 2 minutes with it he said “Damn. Now I need to figure out what to sell so I can buy one of these!”

Fantastic guitar. Color me happy. Just need to get enough playing time now so it tells me what its name is…

I bought this beauty several years ago. Fantastic quality, tone and versatility.FyI I have been playing for 50 years. If you get a chance to play one of these you’ll find there’s nothing you can’t do with this guitar. Blues, jazz, rock, shredding, it’s all at your finger tips.  Just a wonderfully well made and handsome  guitar. No flaws with terrific fit and finish. Wouldn’t trade or sell this baby, it’s a keeper.  If you get a chance to play one, you will most certainly agree. May be hard to find one, but but if you do, you’ll be more than happy with this guitar.

I’ve been going through a few guitars as of late, but none have really been “speaking” to me. I found one of these, picked it up off the wall and liked the weight and feel instantly. Once I plugged it in and ran it through my usual tests, hearing the sounds bloom beautifully all over the place, I knew it had to come home with me. And it did.
